Orang tua murid seorang sisa SD berinisial AL yang melaporkan kecurangan sekolah, karena membiarkan muridnya mencontek masal pada saat ujian, malah dilabrak banyak orang tua murid lainnya. Akibat laporan ini, kepala sekolah dicopot dari jabatannya. Para orang tua murid yang marah ini, tidak terima orang tua AL melaporkan kecurangan itu dan membuat ujian akhir terancam harus di ulang lagi. Orang tua AL yang berprofesi sebagai buruh dan penjahit ini, malah dimaki-maki. Reaksi ini membuat orang tua AL minta maaf karena tidak bermaksud mempermalukan nama sekolah. Semula aku masih mengira, apa ini mimpi buruk? karena film-film Hollywood yang sering dituduh merusak moral generasi muda, sejauh yang aku tonton justru mengajarkan nilai moral sebaliknya: 'Kejujuran adalah hal penting yang harus kamu bela sampai mati sekalipun
